The 2020 National Football League season has reached Week 5, which means that the season is 25 percent complete. Teams have already started to separate themselves from the rest of the back, both in a good and bad way.
At this point, the Kansas City Chiefs are now the overwhelming favorites to win the Super Bowl, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Kansas City has seen their odds lower to +380 to win the title, easily becoming the heavy betting favorite.
The Baltimore Ravens were seen as a co-favorite with the Chiefs before the season began, but Kansas City settled that in Week 3. The Chiefs blew out the Ravens in that game, which has separated the defending Super Bowl Champions from the rest of the pack.
Baltimore is second on the list at +600, while the Seattle Seahawks have climbed up to +800. The Green Bay Packers (+1100), New Orleans Saints (+1300), and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+1500) round out the list of Super Bowl contenders at this point of the season.
Seahawks Now NFC Favorite
Heading into the 2020 regular season, the AFC was viewed as the strongest conference by experts and sportsbooks. That might still remain the case with the Kansas City Chiefs, but the NFC has a pair of undefeated teams as well.
The Seattle Seahawks are now the favorites to win the NFC at +350, according to FanDuel. A huge change in the odds for them from the preseason. The Green Bay Packers now sit at +430 to win that conference as they are the clear favorites to win the NFC North Division.
The San Francisco 49ers were the favorites to win the NFC before the season began, but those odds now sit at +1300 as San Francisco has been dealing with a number of injuries.
Who Wins the NFC East?
The NFC East has been the worst division in football so far this season, and it appears that no team actually wants to win the division crown. Currently, the Philadelphia Eagles sit in first place in the division at 1-2-1.
FanDuel Sportsbook currently has the Philadelphia Eagles at +130 to win the NFC East Division, but they are not the favorites. The Dallas Cowboys are listed at -130 to win the division, despite entering Week 5 with a 1-3 record.
The 1-3 Washington Football Team (+950) and the 0-4 New York Giants (+3500) are technically still in the division race, but FanDuel is not giving them much of a chance.
Winless or Undefeated Betting Odds
FanDuel is also offering betting odds for teams to finish the 2020 season, either winless or undefeated. The Kansas City Chiefs are one of the best betting markets available for this type of bet.
FanDuel has the odds set at +650 for any team to go undefeated this season, and the odds are +1100 for the Chiefs to accomplish the feat.
The odds for a team to go winless this season are currently set at +600.
